Advisory Councils

The College of Engineering receives guidance and advice from three different groups.

  • The College of Engineering Dean's Advisory Council, established in 1989, is made up of engineering alumni and national industry leaders who are committed to the College’s pursuit of excellence in research activities, scholarship and academic programs, ensuring personal and professional growth for future generations of engineering leaders who will stimulate economic prosperity for Arkansas, the nation and the world.
  • The Early Career Advisory Council, established in 2015, was formed to learn from alumni how to improve students’ preparation for the workforce. Members have completed their degrees in the last 10 years.
  • The Engineering Student Council connects College of Engineering students to the faculty, staff, and student organizations, in order to discuss issues and share ideas to further the excellence of the College.
