2025 Theme - Apocalypse
Prepare for the ultimate challenge at the Explore Engineering summer camp! Designed for current 7th-8th graders, this year’s Apocalypse theme puts campers in a world where survival depends on innovative engineering. From building shelters and purifying water to generating energy and creating emergency communication devices, students will tackle real-world problems in a thrilling, hands-on environment. With teamwork and creativity, campers will design solutions to thrive in a post-apocalyptic world. This exciting week of exploration combines STEM skills with imagination for an unforgettable experience. Will you have what it takes to engineer the future?
Eligibility and Application
All students entering the 8th or 9th grade during the 2025-2026 school year are eligible to apply.
Camp Dates and Times
Session A: June 2-6, 2025
8:30 AM to 4:30 PM each day
Session B: July 21-25, 2025
8:30 AM to 4:30 PM each day

Pick-Up 4:30 PM - 5 PM
Cost
Join us for a fun-filled week at camp! The program fee of $300 covers snacks, a t-shirt, insurance, and other camp-related expenses. While lunch is not included, students should bring their own each day. If this poses a financial challenge, please reach out to us before the camp starts so we can explore alternative arrangements.
Fees are due upon registration, but scholarships are available thanks to the generosity of our sponsors. Don't let finances stand in the way of a memorable camp experience!
Location
This camp is held on the University of Arkansas campus. More specific information will be provided approixmately 3 weeks prior to arrival.
