2026 Theme - Engineering Odyssey
Embark on an odyssey of innovation at University of Arkansas' Discover Engineering Summer camp! Campers will journey through the groundbreaking technologies of legendary societies such as Mesopotamia, Ancient Greece, and beyond. Through hands-on engineering challenges inspired by historical achievements, participants will uncover how early innovations shaped the world we know today. Working collaboratively in teams, campers will connect the excitement of STEM with the evolution of civilization bridging past ingenuity with modern creativity in a dynamic, story-driven learning experience.
Eligibility and Application
All students entering the 6th or 7th grade during the 2026-2027 school year are eligible to apply.
Camp Dates and Times
Session A: June 1 - June 5, 2026
8:30 AM to 4:30 PM each day
Session B: June 15 - June 19, 2026
8:30 AM to 4:30 PM each day
Session C: July 13 - July 17, 2026
8:30 AM to 4:30 PM each day

Cost
Join us for a fun-filled week at camp! The program fee of $350 covers snacks, a t-shirt, insurance, and other camp-related expenses. While lunch is not included, students should bring their own each day. If this poses a financial challenge, please reach out to us before the camp starts so we can explore alternative arrangements.
Fees are due upon registration, but scholarships are available thanks to the generosity of our sponsors. Don't let finances stand in the way of a memorable camp experience!
