Faculty Career Advocate

A Faculty Career Advocate serves as the liaison between Engineering Career Connections and students. As a part of this advocate network you will help us increase effective communication with students and academic departments about graduating student placement data, resources, career opportunities, and career events.

Your Role as a Career Advocate

By joining the Career Advocate Network, you will choose the level of engagement that suits you best:

  1. Liaise with Our Office: Share career-related resources, events, and programs with your class(es). Your support will help disseminate crucial information to students, enhancing their understanding of the opportunities available to them. You will receive this information through a periodic career engagement newsletter containing valuable content for yourself and your students.
  2. Offer Referrals: Refer students to our office when they require specialized career support, ensuring they receive the guidance they need to succeed.
